Overview

Elsource Cloud EMS is a multi-tenant, multi-site energy management platform that gives portfolio owners a single pane of glass across every metered site — from a handful of buildings to hundreds of stores across the country.

Meters at each site push data to the Elsource cloud through secure gateways. The platform aggregates, normalises and benchmarks consumption across sites, surfacing anomalies, tariff outliers and demand risks that would be invisible in site-by-site reviews.

Cloud EMS is designed for portfolio energy managers, sustainability teams and finance functions that need consistent, comparable and auditable energy data across a distributed footprint.

Capabilities

Built for the way energy teams actually work.

Multi-site portfolio view

Fleet-wide dashboards with drill-down from portfolio to region to site to meter.

Anomaly & benchmark alerts

Automatic flagging of sites that drift from expected consumption or tariff behaviour.

Mobile & web access

Responsive web app and mobile-friendly dashboards for field, ops and leadership users.

Automated reports

Scheduled portfolio, site and tariff reports delivered to inboxes without manual work.

API integration

REST APIs for feeding ERP, BI, sustainability and asset-management platforms.

Data security & backup

Encrypted transport, role-based access and regular backups managed by Elsource.

Reference architecture

From the panel to the boardroom.

Every deployment follows the same four-layer reference architecture — proven across sites, scalable across portfolios.

Layer 01

Field meters

Elsource meters at each site capture consumption, demand and power-quality data at configurable intervals.

Layer 02

Edge gateway

Site gateways buffer data locally and push securely to the Elsource cloud over TLS.

Layer 03

Cloud platform

Ingest, normalisation, historian, analytics and alerting run as managed services in the Elsource cloud.

Layer 04

Consumption

Dashboards, mobile access, scheduled reports and REST APIs deliver data to every stakeholder.

Where it fits

Deployed across the sectors we serve.

Retail chains

Hundreds of stores rolled up into a single benchmarked view with per-store anomaly alerts.

Multi-location industry

Cross-plant energy accounting supporting group-level ESG reporting.

Franchise operations

Standardised consumption dashboards across franchise-operated sites.

Real estate portfolios

Portfolio-level tenant billing and common-area consumption analysis.

Integrates with

Plays nicely with what you already run.

Elsource platforms are protocol-agnostic and API-first, so existing meters, SCADA and enterprise systems stay in place while data flow gets consolidated.

  • Elsource smart & multifunction meters
  • Third-party DLMS / Modbus meters via edge gateway
  • ERP / BI / sustainability platforms via REST API
  • Elsource Tenant Billing and Solar Monitoring modules

FAQ

Answers to the questions that come up first.

Where is the data hosted?

Cloud EMS is hosted on managed infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Data-residency options are available for customers with specific requirements.

How is site connectivity handled?

Edge gateways buffer data locally and forward when connectivity is available, so short outages do not result in data loss.

Can we bring our own meters?

Yes. Any DLMS or Modbus meter with a documented register map can be onboarded through the edge gateway.
